LED display market vast potential with control card holds promising prospects

With the advancement of LED technology, LED displays have gained a significant market share and the demand for them continues to grow. As the LED display market develops further, the market for LED control cards is also on the rise. Wireless control cards are expected to become the mainstream in future development.

LED display market possesses significant growth potential.
With the advancement of the domestic economy, the purchasing power of LED displays is poised to increase. According to statistics from the Bureau of Statistics, China's total retail sales of consumer goods witnessed a year-on-year growth rate of 13% in 2014, surpassing that of the first half and first three quarters by 0.3 and 0.1 percentage points respectively, indicating a stable and upward development trend. As China's consumption structure undergoes accelerated upgrading, there is an increasing demand among residents for high-end consumer products and services, which in turn will drive the rapid growth of high-end consumer markets such as LED displays.

Secondly, the urbanization process in my country is gaining momentum, and there exists a vast market space for LED displays in second- and third-tier cities. According to a recent urban white paper published by the National Academy of Sciences and Social Sciences, it is projected that by 2020, approximately 60% of urbanization construction coverage will be achieved in my country. It is anticipated that the consumption value of LED products by urban households will reach 500 billion yuan by 2020.

Additionally, bolstered by robust government support for domestic brands, LED display companies possess a competitive edge in the national market. Our country has consistently placed great emphasis on and provided backing for energy-efficient and eco-friendly products like LED displays. Governments at all levels have employed various means such as land allocation, tax incentives, rent subsidies, and labor cost advantages to foster the growth of the LED industry. Furthermore, substantial financial resources have been allocated to offer extensive support. Between 2009 and 2010 alone, upstream MOCVD manufacturers received purchase investment subsidies amounting to tens of millions of yuan per unit. Recently, Unilumin was granted a subsidy of 5 million yuan for its product expansion projects. In 2012, Sanan received four subsidies totaling 232 million yuan. These examples clearly demonstrate the unwavering commitment from both our nation and its government towards fostering excellence within the LED industry.

Control card plays a crucial role in the functionality of the LED display.
The LED control card is an external device used to convert display data from a PC for LED display screens. There are various types available based on different application scenarios and functional requirements: 
   1) Universal serial port LED control card, which requires connection through the computer's serial port or USB port to modify the display program on the screen.
   2) LED display U disk control card, which allows direct modification of the screen content using a U disk without connecting to a computer. The prepared program needs to be exported to the U disk and then inserted into the USB interface of the LED display control card.
   3) LED display remote control card, which enables inputting displayed programs through an infrared keyboard remote control. Equipped with a keyboard remote control mainly used in Europe and the United States, it simplifies English input but has limited usage in China due to difficulties in Chinese input using this method.
   4) Short-distance LED display wireless control card, also known as RF wireless control card, operates by modifying radio frequency (RF) programs on the screen. It requires a set of RF transceiver modules with one module installed on the computer side and another module installed on the control card side.
  5) The bus display control card is primarily utilized for displaying information on buses. It shares similarities with a general control card in terms of appearance, but the main distinction lies in its connection to the bus stop announcer or central controller. The displayed information includes the following:
  6) To activate the LED control card, press the button and edit the program through a computer. The program can be transmitted to the LED control card via a U disk or serial port, and program selection can be made using buttons.
  7) The wireless LED control card, also known as GSM SMS control card or GPRS wireless control card, enables remote management of display screens and modification of their content through SMS or mobile phone network.
  8) Network interface control cards allow for modification of LED display screens and programs without relying on serial ports or USB disks; instead, they utilize network interfaces.
  9) Special customized function LED control cards are available upon request.

The primary function of LED display screens is to present text, images, videos, and other information. However, the LED control card, an essential accessory for supporting the LED display screen, needs to consider various factors such as timing, location, audience engagement in order to activate the LED display screen. These factors include ensuring sufficient power supply for the LED control card, matching the scanning mode and OE direction in the software after connecting it with the LED display module, and verifying proper connection of cables between the LED control card and the LED display module. With a growing range of applications for LED displays comes an increasing number of specialized types of LED control cards available on a expanding market.

The future of LED control cards and wireless control cards is promising.
In the past two years, there has been rapid development in LED display screens, leading to a broader market for LED control cards. Despite the current homogeneity and price wars in the display market, which have negatively impacted innovation, it is important to note that under the influence of market dynamics, there still exists significant potential for growth and advancement in LED control cards.

According to the 2015 LED market trend forecast, outdoor LED advertising screens continue to exhibit steady growth in the current market landscape. Wireless LED control cards cater to customers' demands for unified management and cluster transmission. For instance, they can be conveniently installed in batches for community promotion, car screens, government projects, mobile applications, telecommunications purposes, and bank door screens. These installations are easily manageable without requiring maintenance, making them an optimal choice for users.

The earliest serial port cards have been phased out, and the current market is still predominantly dominated by U disk cards. While SMS cards, wireless GPRS, and network port cards do exist, the unassailable market dominance of U disk cards remains unchanged. The wireless control card offers simplicity and convenience in operation, enabling remote control functionality and cluster management among other advantages. These features have garnered a certain level of market recognition for the wireless control card. It finds extensive application in various sectors such as government institutions, chain stores, buses, taxis, advertising media light boxes, sports lottery stations, and welfare lotteries. Moreover, it has gained widespread adoption across units like stations parking systems airports communities schools.

The proliferation of wireless WIFI networks has been extensive, with their coverage expanding in leisure and entertainment venues such as shopping malls and restaurants. It is not an overstatement to assert that we are on the verge of entering a wireless network era. Recognizing this opportunity, pioneers in the control card industry have capitalized on wireless networks as a foundation for developing a short-range mobile phone control card specifically tailored for this sector. Consequently, wireless WIFI cards will rapidly dominate the entire market landscape, rendering conventional USB flash drive cards obsolete while ushering in an era where wireless control cards become mainstream.
